August 2015

We had a great month of August!
First, our baby turned 7 months.  Sniff!

Jared and his friend from work, Eric, flew to SLC to visit Reid Ranch.
The trip was quick and only lasted a little over 24 hours.

I feel like I'm learning more and more about how to observe the Sabbath Day
and I loved reading this quote.

Such an amazing surprise and find one of my best friends from my club volleyball days wrote an article for the Ensign!  It was so so so good.  You can read it here.

Starting to love solids.  Although he doesn't look too sure here, haha.

"No more carseat for me, mom!"

Sunday walks

I LOVE MY BOYS

Cooking cookies & biscuits in homemade solar ovens for camp certification.
Pretty adventurous!

Love that profile!

Orlando City soccer game for a birthday party for a friend.
So fun.  But SO HOT.

Mom of two for a day - okay wow that's gonna be busy when that time comes.

The teaching of electronics begins.

LOVE those fluffy cheeks.

We were thrilled to hear Tom + Chee from Shark Tank opened a franchise in Orlando!  We tried the Grilled Cheese Donut and it was AMAZING.

Sister Cedeno always does a wonderful job for our Personal Progress mutuals.
This one was on Virtue #3.

Birthday party for our neighbor.

I LOVE HIM

I've had fun making a new treat each week. :)  This was Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie and it was so.good.  Until I realized the culprit of my sugar headaches is semi-sweet chocolate so I gave the rest of the pie to a friend so I wouldn't be tempted to eat it and have a headache.  Haha.  Milk chocolate it is!

As Taylor would say, "Tis the season for candy carn!!!!!!!!!!"
My favorite season :)

Yes.  We.  Did.

Lots of entertaining Ollie in between naps/when I was able to read with the girls.

An intermission for a volleyball game for Mutual.

So proud of the three girls that did the whole thing!

Discovered the store "Once Upon A Child" and loved getting all of this for only $17!

Ollie the bull

Love that quote

This was so. so. so. good.

This picture makes me so happy.

A fun mutual where we all shared beauty tips.  The girls know a lot!
Way more than I did when I was a teenager. :)

Then Sister Allred brought out her super strong electric hair razor and the girls
screamed and shrieked being brave enough to try it.  Haha!

First time sitting in the big boy seat!!!!!!

Jared took a course to become a boat captain.  It was two weeks long from 6-10pm at night and it required a lot of time and energy after working all day.  I'm so proud of him for studying hard and passing.  You can now call him Master Captain Jared!

When your baby hasn't quite mastered the pincer grasp :)

This was ah.mazing.

The bracketed part was so very enlightening.
