Sun, 3/30/14: Today we were able to go to church with my
family!! I was so excited to introduce them to all the people I love
and introduce the people I love to the people I love even more! I played
Easter hymns on the organ for prelude and it felt like a piano recital
like when I was younger with my parents watching. :) Today at church I just realized
how Mom is the epitome of love, makes me feel so loved, so nice to others,
makes everyone feel so loved. I want to be just like her. Ayana Cedeno taught such a good lesson on why we need to
forgive. Then when I got home mom was warming up
the lasagna I had cooked earlier in the morning and it was so fun to eat
together just like old times! We had a meal that reminded me of home –
lasagna, garlic bread, and salad. Then we went to my family’s condo they
were renting and J was on the phone with his family talking about the ranch’s
future so I sat and talked with dad about our future. I love talking to
him. He shows so much love and care towards us. Then we
put some brownies in the oven and watched Frozen! It was so fun to be together
and to laugh together. One of my favorite things is seeing my family laugh.

Sat, 3/29/14: Today we went to the Kennedy Space
Center! J and I were so excited because we’ve lived here for a year and a
half and have never been. We went on a bus tour and it was so fun to see
all the take-off launch pads and then walk around in the museum. We watched some cool movie clips and ate lunch, then mom and Lauren
and I had to leave because we had to get back in time for the trek clothing
sewing service project. Then we drove home in a tornado, truly, we were getting tornado warnings on
our phones and I have never driven in scarier weather. We almost had to
pull over and mom said a prayer. We finally made it to the stake center
and helped all the girls in our stake sew their trek clothes. It was so
fun to be there with my mom and sister!! Then we ate
dinner and watched the General Women’s Broadcast, which was so cool because girls 8 and
older were all allowed to watch it and I loved the unity and sisterhood that I

The boys stayed and saw the Atlantis display
You'd think my always-cold-mom would finally be warm in Florida, but nope...here she is modeling my long skirt, yoga pants, and jacket she borrowed. :)
When we got home the boys were relaxing watching an action movie. Such a fun day!
Fri, 3/28/14: My family flew in last
night! What a joyous reunion it was to see them. We went to Wild Florida.
It was fun to explain to them how Jared had applied for the general manager
position and how excited we were. The best part: the airboat
ride. Mom was so hilarious! What a typical tourist she was.
“Oh my gosh, look at that! How cool! Look, kids! This is
amazing! AH! Picture! Picture picture picture!” :) My favorite part of the airboat ride was when our awesome captain Mark drove over dry land with the boat. It caught us by surprise and we were all surprised! "Mark, what are you doing??"
I loved how supportive my family was too of our decision to
possibly work there. That is one unfailing thing that I love about them
so much--always so supportive. We then fed the gators and saw a gator
demo and then walked through the wildlife park. Then we went and had
dinner at Cracker Barrel. We were all so tired!
Beware...four people taking pictures on this trip = a lot of pictures!
Mark had no idea Jared would soon become his boss! :) He was a fabulous tour guide.
Reunited with my momma after three months!
